I have a Kflop/Kanalog combo driving 4 external +/-10 servo amps ( the encoders use indexing, so I am using both JP1 & JP2 on the Kanalog).
I need to add 1 or 2 external step/dir amps for #42 triple stack stepper motors.
Where is the best location to pick up the step/dir signals?,

Hi Todd,
You will need to select the Mux option to move the 0-3 Step/Dir Generator Outputs from JP7 over to JP4 and JP6.
If your drives will accept 3.3V TTL
inputs you can use any of the 4 you wish. If they need +5V open collector current sinking then only 2 of the 4 (the ones without pull down resistors) support this.
